This Ball combines old traditions of a community ball and modern parties. There will be popular dances that are danced around Toronto

Dances:
Salsa, bachata, tango, swing, waltz, foxtrot, polonez/grand marche, galop, quadrille, irish jig, ceilidh.
Before each dance, the basic step of it will be watched/taught in a short 5 min video, on the screen, so you will be able to dance it. At the intermission there will be socializing at specific areas.
This ball was created to promote social dancing. For people who are spending most of their time in an online world, social dancing provides an opportunity to have human interaction like in old times, which is essential for a feeling of happiness.
The Royalton Hospitality – the name says it all. The ambiance is royal and welcoming to run dancing events. The Royalton’s hardwood dance floor is more than 12,000 square feet. The space can accommodate 500+ people, dancing comfortably.
There is enough parking for up to 800 people.

Please note that the ball has a formal dress code. Admission is granted exclusively for those in floor-length evening dress, black suit / tuxedo. Also, it is important to be able to see a screen for instructions.
The program is dependent on the amount of leaders and followers to be balanced, it also helps for everyone’s enjoyment of the Ball. Therefore there are 3 types of tickets: for couple dancing together (couple ticket), for single leader (leader ticket), for single follower (follower ticket). Please buy the appropriate ticket. All tickets are subject to HST., please contact us if you have questions.
Refreshments are available for purchase in the cafeteria next to the main ballroom for extra charge. There will only be water available at the ballroom itself free of charge.
You can buy a Follower or a Leader ticket which are designated for people without partners. Please note that the amount of those tickets are dependent on each other since we are trying to make sure that there is enough partners to dance with.
There will be a coat check available for $2. Each ticket holder will have assigned a seat in the ballroom. You can rest and leave your personal belongings there, while you dance. (Please note that organizers are not responsible for lost/stolen items)
